Terraced double-pile four-bay three-storey former house with integral carriage arch, built c. 1810, now in use as flats. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks, rendered parapet and moulded cornice. Rendered walls, with render quoins and architraves, c. 1860. Cast-iron balcony addition to first floor, c. 1860. Segmental-arched window openings having timber sliding sash windows. Round-headed door opening with pairs of engaged columns flanking replacement door, having fanlight and archivolt above. Segmental-arched carriage arch with pair of timber matchboard doors. Retaining interior features. Cast-iron railings set on limestone plinths to site and limestone steps leading to front door.
This house forms part of a notable terrace with the adjoining buildings to the east and west. Built in the early nineteenth century, this building is an interesting addition to this terrace. The building is enhanced by the retention of significant features and materials, such as the timber sliding sash windows, slate roof, moulded architraves and some interior fittings.
