Description
Terraced two-bay three-storey former house, built c. 1850, now in use as public house. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystack. Rendered walls. Timber sliding sash windows to upper floors. Timber shopfront to ground floor.
Appraisal
The scale and form of this former house make a positive contribution to the streetscape. Though interesting features and materials have been replaced, this building is enhanced by the retention of the timber sliding sash windows and slate roof. This former house forms part of notable terrace with the adjoining buildings to the north and south.
