End-of-terrace two-bay three-storey former house, built c. 1835, as a pair with the adjoining building to the west. Pitched slate roof having rendered chimneystack. Rendered walls to ground floor with red brick walls to upper floors. Replacement uPVC windows having limestone sills. Timber shopfront inserted, c. 1985.
This scale and form of this former house make a notable and positive contribution to the streetscape. Formerly part of a terrace which has now been demolished, this building forms part of an interesting pair with the adjoining building to the west. The materials utilised in the construction of the building, such as the red brick and grey limestone, add colour and textural interest to the urban landscape.
