Description
Kent railway station, opened 1893, having red brick two-storey station building with decorative brickwork, limestone string course to ground floor sill level, limestone plinth band and timber sash windows; curved glazed and slated roofs to platforms.
Appraisal
One of Ireland's major railway stations, retaining the majority of it's original fabric, including roofs, timber windows and doors, decorative steel roof trusses and miscellaneous cabins and offices.
