Appraisal

Early twentieth-century industrial building retaining many significant design details; complex only partially used and may have housed recreational and office facilities for former Henry Ford & Son Motor Works; one of the most significant buildings on this site. Probably designed by the American architect Albert Kahn who acted as the main industrial architect for the Ford Motor Company.
