Terraced three-bay four-storey commercial building, c. 1870. Pitched slate roof with rendered parapet and having decorative render eaves course. Rendered walls with render string courses, pilasters and colonettes flanking round-headed openings, archivolts, and scallops over square-headed openings. Square-headed openings to first floor and round-headed openings to second and third floors, having timber sash windows. Altered to ground floor and shopfront inserted, c. 2000.
The scale and form of this building make a notable and positive addition to the streetscape. Though now greatly altered to the ground floor, the upper levels of the building remain of architectural heritage significance due to the retention of interesting features and materials. The façade of the building is articulated and enhanced by the elaborate decorative render detail, which was clearly executed by skilled craftsmen. This building forms part of an imposing terrace with the adjoining buildings to the east.
