Description

Gothic-Revival convent chapel, c. 1860, with gabled projecting entrance porch to north elevation; attached to adjacent building; having slate hipped roof, lead flashings, gutter on limestone corbels and bell-cote to south projection, squared limestone ashlar finish and rusticated quoins, coupled lancet windows with trefoil and quatrefoil heads, hood mouldings over openings and pointed arched opening to entrance door in gabled porch; part of convent complex, parking to east side, modern railings to boundary and limestone steps to main entrance.

Appraisal

This late nineteenth-century Gothic-Revival chapel is significant not only as part of the convent complex, but also in its own right.
