Freestanding mausoleum, erected c. 1800, in graveyard containing ruins of medieval church. Flat cut limestone roof. Tooled limestone façade with plinth, and having carved impost course to round-headed entrance opening having moulded archivolt with decorative keystone and cast-iron gate. Partially rendered random red sandstone walls to remaining elevations. Memorial plaque to interior.
This mausoleum is an example of a rare building type. Its classical detailing mark it out as the resting place of the members of a significant local family. It adds variety to the collection of grave markers in the graveyard.
