Terraced two-bay two-storey house and shop, built c. 1890. Pitched slate roof having brick chimneystacks and replacement uPVC rainwater goods. Painted rendered walls, with painted render quoins to north end. Square-headed window openings to first floor, with two-over-two pane timber sliding sash windows, painted moulded render surrounds and painted render sills. Painted timber shopfront to north end of façade, with pilasters and having painted lettering to fascia, replacement door with overlight, and limestone step. Enlarged opening with recent display window and door to south end of façade.
This attractive house and shopfront forms part of a terrace of buildings of similar height and scale, thus forming a pleasing addition to the streetscape. The retention of original features such as the timber sash windows, shopfront, brick chimneystacks and signage are an integral part of the character and charm of the building.
