Freestanding limestone mausoleum, dated 1898, comprising pedestal with moulded top and plinth and inset plaques, set on stepped plinth and surrounded by canopy comprising clustered columns supporting brackets and trefoil arches to all sides and having stepped limestone roof with gable details to each levsl and acroter devices to parapet. Bounded by rope-moulded cast-iron railings set on limestone plinth.
This mausoleum was built for Denis O'Mahony and is one of a pair. Though smaller than many mausolea, it is highly ornate and is a valuable reminder of the local social importance attached to this church site. Its presence in the graveyard adds further variety to the collection of grave markers.
