Freestanding mausoleum, dated 1898, comprising cut limestone pedestal with moulded top and base, and inscribed limestone plaques, set on stepped cut limestone plinth and having reinforced concrete canopy comprising square-plan columns with moulded plinths and caps supporting brackets and trefoil arches to all sides and having stepped cap with cross finial. Bounded by cast-iron railings set on limestone plinth.
This mausoleum was built for Daniel O'Mahony and is one of a pair. Though smaller than many mausolea, it is highly decorative and is a valuable reminder of the local social importance attached to this church site. Its presence in the graveyard adds further variety to the collection of grave markers.
