Terraced three-bay two-storey house with integral carriage arch, built c. 1820. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks and cast-iron rainwater goods. Painted rendered walls with render quoins to west end. Square-headed window openings with concrete sills and one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows, tripartite to ground floor. Round-headed door opening with timber panelled door, spoked fanlight and timber architrave. Square-headed carriage arch with timber battened double-leaf doors.
This house stands out on the street as it breaks the roofline of the terrace to the west. Its height is emphasised by the tall proportions to its façade. It occupies a prominent site at the base of Mill Road and retains notable features such as the tripartite window, spoked fanlight and the carriage arch, which adds context to the site.
