Detached nine-bay three-storey former watermill, dated 1833. Southern three bays are later addition. Building part of larger structure that extended to west. Pitched reslated roof. Rubble limestone and sandstone walls, with roughly dressed quoins to older block and squarer blocks to later part. Roughly dressed voussoirs to camber-arched openings, now squared off and having replacement windows. Recent wide openings added to ground floor of east, roadside, elevation. Replacement doors to openings in west elevation. Tie bars between floors. Carved liemstone plaque to south gable reads 'Rathcormac Manor Mills 1833'.
This industrial building is a reminder of the once-extensive milling industry in North Cork. Its basic form has been retained and the plaque, perhaps dating the later phase, adds important context.
