End-of-terrace three-bay two-storey house over basement, built c. 1860, having gabled end-bays with canted-bay to front elevation, east-end. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks. Rendered walls with render string course having foliate label stops. Camber-headed openings to canted-bay and gabled end-bay, ground floor, all with one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows and limestone sills. Round-headed openings to gabled end-bay, first floor. Square-headed opening to centre-bay, first floor. Render surrounds with keystones to window openings. Round-headed opening having gable-fronted rendered surround with foliate consoles, overlight and timber panelled door. Rendered boundary walls with square-profile piers and timber single-leaf gate.
This house forms part of a fine formally composed terrace of five, which retains its original form and massing, together with much of the original fabric. The terrace is representative of the continued development of the sea side suburbs of Youghal in the mid to late nineteenth century.
