Triple-arch limestone bridge, built c. 1750, carrying road over Womanagh River. Rubble limestone walls with render copings to parapet walls and dressed limestone string course. Carved limestone plaque to west elevation, north parapet. Elliptical arches with dressed limestone voussoirs. Dressed limestone triangular cutwaters to north and south elevations. .
Well-constructed and substantial bridge sited on historic trade link between Cork and Youghal. Masonry work well-executed by skilled craftsmen and contrasts rubble stone work with finer voussoirs and cutwaters. Memorial plaque adds context.
