Terraced four-bay three-storey former house, built c. 1820, having render shopfront to ground floor. Now in use as bank. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks. Rendered walls having render quoins. Square-headed openings with render surrounds and two-over-two pane timber sliding sash windows. Those to first floor having ornate keystones. Shopfront comprising fluted render pilasters with ornate caps, fascia with render surround and moulded cornice. Triple camber-headed display window having render surround. Camber-headed opening to front, north end-bay having render surround and overlight and timber panelled door. Camber-headed opening to front, south end-bay, now partially blocked up.
This building retains its original form, including notable features such as the sash windows and slate roof. The subtly diminishing windows are a typical of the Georgian style in Ireland, of which this building is a fine late example. It presents a unified front to the streetscape.
