Terrace of four two-bay two-storey houses, built c.1900. Pitched artificial slate roofs having red-brick and rendered chimneystacks with cast-iron and uPVC rainwater goods. Painted rendered walls. Square-headed openings having two-over-two timber sliding sash windows with concrete and stone sills. Square-headed door openings with timber glazed doors and overlights. Some opening fittings now replaced.
This modestly scaled pair of houses forms part of a fine terrace on a busy streetscape. They maintain their early character and form through the retention of timber sliding sash windows, thus ensuring they make a positive contribution to the heritage of Bantry town.
