End-of-terrace single-bay two-storey house, built c.1760, with three-bay to ground floor. Currently disused. Pitched artificial slate roof with render coping to gables, cast-iron rainwater goods and rendered chimneystacks. Painted rendered walls having square-headed window openings, painted stone sills throughout, six-over-six timber sliding sash window to first floor window, bipartite window with one-over-one timber sliding sash windows and six-pane timber casement window to ground floor. Square-headed opening to entrance having battened timber door with rendered step.
The irregular facade of this building is unusual in Castletownshend. Located on the main street it displays a pleasing asymmetry. The retention of the historic features, such as the timber sliding sash windows and substantial chimneystacks, adds to its character and charm.
