Freestanding single-span rubble stone road bridge, built c.1820, spanning river. Segmental-arch having dressed rubble limestone voussoirs. Rubble stone spandrels and parapets with solider coping.
Allowing access across one of the rivers leading to the bay, this small bridge has an important role in connecting the northern section of Rosscarbery with the surrounding towns and villages to the north-east. The longevity of this expertly crafted bridge is testament to the craftsmen who originally built it.
