Terrace of four two-bay two-storey houses, built c.1880, with canted bay windows to ground floor. Pitched slate roofs with rendered and red brick chimneystacks, cast-iron rainwater goods and recent flat roofed dormer windows. Rendered walls with moulded render platbands. Camber-headed window openings under render hood mouldings to first floor with painted sills and one-over-one timber sliding sash windows. Square-headed openings to canted bay windows. Some houses with replacement uPVC windows. Recessed camber-headed door openings with moulded render surrounds and half-glazed timber doors with overlights. Wrought-iron pedestrian gate and railings on rendered boundary walls to front of house.
The size and form of these houses are in keeping with others in the streetscape and the terrace makes a positive contribution to the surrounding area. The terrace retains interesting features, such as the timber sash windows and render mouldings, which enhance the façade. The terrace has a simple, coherent design and elegant proportions that are typical of its era.
