Attached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1800, with two-storey return to rear (north). Pitched slate roof with clay ridge tiles and cast-iron rainwater goods. Rendered walls. Square-headed tripartite window openings with stone sills and one-over-one timber sash windows. Single window opening to centre bay first floor. Square-headed door opening with fixed leaded sidelights and limestone sills flanking replacement timber door. Ashlar boundary wall surmounted by cast-iron railings, square-profile piers with cast-iron gate and limestone step. House approached on concrete path with lawn to either side.
A fine house which is an excellent example of the terraced housing built in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, as the area became a fashionable suburban area. It retains its classical proportions and balance in the arrangement of the façade. The boundary wall and gate piers contribute to the character of the streetscape and fit well with the character of this terrace.
