Square-headed door opening to east elevation with carved timber surround, overlight, timber panelled door, figurative brass door furniture and cut limestone steps. Double-leaf half-glazed timber doors and decorative tiling to interior of entrance. Timber shutters to interiors of windows. Multiple-bay two-storey outbuilding to north having pitched corrugated-iron roof and roughcast rendered walls. A charmingly situated elegant nineteenth-century house of pleasing proportions and balanced symmetry. This house exists largely in its early form and retains much of its original fabric including a robust carved timber doorcase and timber sliding sash windows with decorative horns. The decorative side entrance is an interesting and noteworthy feature. The house, its outbuilding and entrance gates form a pleasant group in the landscape.
