Entrance gates to Kilbrack House, erected c. 1840, comprising square-profile ashlar limestone piers with plinths and moulded caps, having double-leaf wrought-iron vehicular gates with decorative details and limestone wheel guards, and having similar piers and gates to flanking pedestrian openings. Curved rendered walls to ends, having cut-stone copings and plinths, teminating in piers similar to those of gates. Gate lodge straddling demesne wall to west.
This attractive entrance gateway is distinguished by the quality of its cut-stone piers and wrought-iron gates, which exhibit a high level of craftsmanship in stonework and ironmongery.
