Four-arch sandstone road bridge, built c. 1800, over River Brogeen. Rubble stone walls, with roughly dressed sandstone voussoirs to round arches having projecting keystones to east elevation. Ashlar sandstone V-cutwaters to east elevation and vertically-set rubble coping stones.
Brogeen Bridge is a well designed, finely executed bridge, which was clearly constructed by skilled craftsmen. The round-headed arches form an attractive, rhythmical silhouette in the landscape. The projecting keystones and V-cutwaters to the east elevation add further interest to the bridge.
