Freestanding limestone gable-fronted mausoleum, built c. 1880, bounded by cast-iron railings. Pitched stone-flagged roof with cut limestone cross finial, pediment with moulded cornice and antefixae to corners. Cut limestone walls. Square-headed door opening with moulded limestone surround flanked by pilasters, having ornate wrought-iron gate.
This limestone mausoleum of the Kirby family, is well designed in a solemn classical style. Ornamentation is restricted to the finely carved features such as the antefixae, the cross finial and the initials to the pediment.
