Detached three-bay single-storey vernacular house, built c. 1800, now disused. Pitched corrugated-iron roof. Rendered walls. Square-headed openings with two-over-two pane timber sliding sash window, fixed twelve-pane window, and timber battened half-door. Recent square-headed opening with steel door to west gable.
Simple forms enhanced by retention of timber windows to small openings. Corrugated-iron replaced thatch as vernacular material in twentieth century, here adding texture and colour. It is a significant reminder of the urban vernacular which has been all but lost throughout Ireland.
