Double-arch road bridge spanning Canrooska River, built c.1800, with recent rounded concrete coping and parapet repairs. Rubble limestone construction with limestone voussoirs to semi-circular stilted arches and V-cutwater to north-east elevation.
Located within Glengarriff Nature Reserve, this picturesque road bridge is a pleasant addition to the woodland. The bridge exhibits local craftsmanship of a high standard. The second smaller arch is a distinctive feature, included to act as an overflow in times of flood. It forms part of a group with the other Glengarriff Demesne structures, such as the picturesque gate lodge.
