Detached five-bay single-storey house, built c. 1860, having gabled porch to front (east) elevation. Hipped and pitched artificial slate roof with rendered chimneystacks and cast-iron rainwater goods. Pitched artificial slate roof to porch. Rendered walls. Square-headed window openings with concrete sills and two-over-two pane timber sliding sash windows. Square-headed door openings to north and south elevations of porch, having timber panelled half-glazed door to north and timber battened door to south elevation. Rendered boundary walls to site with square-profile piers to site.
Traditional house retaining its early character and form in features such as the timber sliding sash windows. The roof form and irregularly placed windows are typical vernacular features . The survival of modest traditional houses of these add significantly to the architectural record.
