Attached three-bay two-storey farmhouse, built c.1800, having three-bay two-storey block to side (north-east). Pitched slate roof having rendered eaves course and chimneystacks and cast-iron and replacement uPVC rainwater goods. Pitched corrugated-iron roof with render gable copings to side block. Rendered walls. Square-headed window openings with stone sills, having two-over-two pane timber sliding sash and timber casement windows. Square-headed door openings, having replacement glazed timber door to front elevation of farmhouse and timber battened door to side block. Complex of outbuildings to south-west, comprising seven-bay single-storey block with attached four-bay two-storey former dwelling. Pitched corrugated-iron roof having render copings. Rendered walls, having square-headed window openings with stone sills and remains of timber frames and six-over-six pane timber sliding sash windows. Square-headed door openings having single and double-leaf timber battened and corrugated-iron doors.
This traditional farm house with its accompanying collection of outbuildings forms an interesting agricultural complex. The survival of numerous historic features and materials, including sash windows, stone sills and slate and corrugated-iron roofs further enhance the significance of the group.
