Freestanding rectangular-plan mausoleum, built c.1890, having three-bay entrance front. Snecked stone walls with ashlar string course and buttresses. Recessed blank plaques. Cast-iron door to entrance.

Appraisal

An eye-catching mausoleum set within a graveyard which contains many fine grave markers and monuments spanning several centuries. Its Celtic Revival style is an interesting reminder of the resurgence in Irish identity which grew in the late nineteenth century, and found expression in art, architecture and literature at the time.
