Description

Group of detached stone-built buildings, built c. 1900, originally forming coastguard complex, later in use as sanatorium, now disused. Comprising detached three-bay single-storey house with gablets to dormer attic windows, now ruinous. Detached six-bay single-storey range with attic, having door opening to first floor of south gable end approached by flight of steps, now ruinous. Detached three-bay single-storey outbuilding possibly over basement, now derelict. Detached five-by two-storey building, now ruinous. Detached three-bay single-storey house, now ruinous. Pitched slate roofs with clay ridge tiles, pebbledashed chimneystacks, profiled cast-iron gutters and having corrugated-iron to out-building. Pebbledashed or cement rendered walls to rubble stone walls. Rendered brick sills with remains of timber sliding sash window frames.
