Single-arch humpback limestone railway bridge, built c. 1862. Rusticated stone walls with rock-faced voussoirs to segmental-headed arch. Snecked rusticated limestone parapet walls.
This bridge is part of the Charleville Junction to Patrickswell branch built by the Great Southern and Western Railway company. The bridge is carefully designed and good quality materials were used in its construction. Its solid form serves as a reminder of the skill of nineteenth-century craftsmen and engineers.
