Appraisal

This house is an attractive, middle-size range that occupies a prominent site in the centre of the village of Clonea. Composed of balanced proportions on a symmetrical plan the house incorporates a later pubfront, itself conforming to a symmetrical design and of artistic design merit. The house retains important salient features to the main block, and contributes to the historic character of the village.
