Terraced three-bay two-storey house with dormer attic, c.1820. Renovated, c.1870, with dormer attic added. Extensively renovated, c.1995. Pitched roof (gabled to dormer attic windows) with replacement artificial slate, c.1995, clay ridge tiles, rendered (shared) chimney stack, and cast-iron rainwater goods on rendered eaves having iron brackets. Painted replacement cement rendered walls, c.1995. Square-headed window openings with stone sills, and replacement uPVC casement windows, c.1995. Square-headed door opening with timber apron, c.1870, replacement timber panelled door, c.1870, and ogee-headed overlight. Road fronted with concrete brick cobbled footpath to front.
A well-balanced house of graceful proportions, which retains most of its original form. The small scale of additional dormer attic windows produces an attractive visual effect, although the external appearance of the house is not enhanced by the inappropriate replacement fittings and materials throughout.
