Three-arch rubble stone road bridge over river, c.1820. Random rubble stone walls with lime mortar, and cut-stone coping to parapets. Series of three round arches with squared rubble stone voussoirs, and squared rubble stone soffits having lime render over. Sited spanning River Tay with grass banks to river.
A well-proportioned bridge forming an appealing landmark on the River Tay. The rubble stone work serves to blend the bridge into the surrounding landscape, while the civil engineering heritage significance of the site is identified by the construction of the arches, which have retained their original profile.
