Terraced three-bay two-storey house, c.1820. Extensively renovated, c.1995, with replacement shopfront inserted to ground floor. Pitched (shared) roof with replacement artificial slate, c.1995, clay ridge tiles, rendered chimney stacks, and cast-iron rainwater goods. Painted roughcast walls with rendered strips. Square-headed window openings with rendered sills, and replacement uPVC casement windows, c.1995. Replacement timber shopfront, c.1995, to ground floor with pilasters, fixed-pane timber display windows, glazed timber double doors, timber fascia over having consoles, and moulded cornice. Road fronted with concrete brick cobbled footpath to front.
An attractive, middle-size house, built as part of a group of five houses of similar appearance and period of construction. Extensively renovated over the course of the late twentieth century, leading to the lost of some of the original form, and most of the original fabric, the house remains of importance for its contribution to the streetscape, forming part of the north range to the square.
