A picturesque, small-scale cottage retaining its original form and early fabric. The informal massing, the construction in locally-sourced materials, and the thatched roof all identify the cottage as an important element of the vernacular heritage of County Waterford. The cottage and related ancillary structures form an neat, self-contained group that makes an appealing visual statement in the landscape.
