Detached corner-sited four-bay single-storey vernacular house, built c.1800. Pitched thathed roof, with low whitewashed rendered chimneystack and rendered copings to gables. Whitewashed walls with square-headed openings, having replacement timber windos and door. Mounting block or jostle stone at south-west corner.
This thatched building, formerly part of a row, is one of only two remaining in Tuam and is a good example of a vernacular four-bay house.
