Terraced three-bay two-storey house, built c.1860. Built as one of pair with house to east. Pitched slate roof with red brick eaves course and with paired red brick chimneystacks to mid-roof. Smooth rendered walls. Square-headed window openings with red brick block-and-start surrounds and cut-stone sills, having two-over-two pane timber sliding sash windows. Square-headed door opening with red brick block-and-start surround with timber panelled door with stained-glass overlight. Decorative cast-iron pedestrian gate, with similar railings on rendered plinth.
This house displays brick opening surrounds and cast-iron railings, typical of the mid-nineteenth century. Although simple in design, this building is enhanced by its brick dressings and timber sash windows. It forms a pair with the house to the east.
