Terraced three-bay single-storey vernacular house, built c.1850. Pitched thatched roof with decorative raised ridge, and rendered chimneystack. Painted rendered walls with plinth course. Square-headed window openings with painted stone sills and replacement timber windows. Square-headed door opening having replacement timber door.
This attractive building along with its thatched neighbour adds interest to the streetscape of Clarinbridge and acts as a reminder of vernacular houses that were once common in Ireland's towns and villages. The thatched roof, low chimneystack and relatively small openings are typical of vernacular architecture.
