Three-arch limestone road bridge, built c.1820, over Island River. Comprises walls of coursed large blocks of squared stone, segmental arches with ashlar voussoirs, and piers having round-plan cutwaters. Parapets capped with flat stones.
This brdge, probably dating from the early nineteenth century, has wide arches and is of neatly dressed stone. It is a good example of structures of the period, is well maintained, and continues to serve the traveller after almost two hundred years.
