Collapsing pitched thatched roof to original house and pitched corrugated iron to south addition with concrete coping to gable, with flat felt roof to rear addition. Rendered chimneystack. Rendered rubble-stone walls and plinth. Square-headed timber battened door to front and rear. Concrete outbuilding to north-west.
This thatched house is situated in a picturesque location overlooking the ocean and Tully Mountain. It is one of the few remaining thatched houses in the district and is a reminder of traditional construction methods. It was extended over the generations to accommodate a growing family.
