Single-span road bridge, built c.1830, with elliptical arch, spanning Abhainn Thír na Cille [Failmore River]. Rendered walls, soffit, parapets and copings with limestone block buttresses and approach walls. Limestone blocks to terminal piers and to string course above arch. Recent tarmacadam road surface.
The bridge is both solidly constructed and aesthetically pleasing. It serves as a reminder of the quality of local craftsmanship exhibiting some exposed limestone blockwork. The location, in a picturesque setting and nestled amongst trees, further enhances the aesthetic character of this bridge.
