Description
Single-arch road bridge, built c. 1860, having roughly coursed rubble stone walls and abutments. Recent dry-stone revetment. Round arch with dressed stone voussoirs, and rubble stone parapet with concrete block coping to north elevation.
Appraisal
Well constructed and proportioned bridge that greatly adds to the coastal scene of the area. It also reflects the expansion of the road network to the more remote areas of the country during the mid-nineteenth century.
