Detached four-bay single-storey vernacular house, built c.1800. Pitched thatched roof with rendered chimneystack and rendered gable ends. Painted smooth rendered walls with painted quoins. Square-headed openings to windows with smooth render surrounds, stone sills and replacement timber frames. Square-headed door opening with timber panelled door. Small lean-to outbuilding situated to north with corrugated-iron roof and irregular rubble stone walls.
This small rural house is a fairly typical example of the local vernacular building tradition, and retains a thatched roof. The painted quoins have also become a traditional feature, adding decorative interest.
