Single-arch road bridge spanning Terryland River, built c.1910, having recent repairs. Rusticated limestone construction with randomly coursed rubble limestone approaches. Segmental arch with voussoirs, parapet, rusticated coping and having flight of steps to east. Rubble limestone revetments to river banks at east and west. Footbridges to east and west, having timber surface and latticed wrought-iron parapets.
This road bridge displays well executed rustic limestone stone work and attention to detail evident in the voussoirs, parapet and flight of steps. It is an essential communication and transport link for the area and provides a valuable insight into early twentieth-century bridge building techniques. It also plays an import role in the general running of the waterworks plant to the west.
