Description

Ruinous remains of two-storey over basement country house, built c.1760. Now overgrown and roofless. Dressed limestone walls to front (west) elevation, and rendered walls to other elevations, rubble stone exposed. Square-headed window openings with cut-stone sills, one with two-over-two pane sliding sash window remaining. Round-headed door opening with sidelights. Cut-stone steps to entrance. Ruinous remains of outbuildings to rear.

Appraisal

Although ruinous, Beech Hill still retains material and features from the eighteenth century. It provides an interesting feature in the local landscape.
