Appraisal

The T-shaped form of the original part of this house is enhanced by the many good cut limestone details in the roof, chimneystacks and openings. The Tudor Revival style was chosen for the design and this is reflected in the form of the chimneystacks and the use of label-mouldings, as well as the handsome doorway with its interesting overlight.
