Appraisal

This is a good example of a mid- to late nineteenth-century bridge, the result of engineering and drainage developments, it is one of several bridges of this type in the area. The well cut stone is evidence of skilled stone masonry, The short parapet walls are a subtle marker of the boundary between townlands.
