Single-arch limestone road bridge, built c.1860, carrying road over Kilcrow River. Roughly dressed snecked limestone walls. Segmental arch with rusticated voussoirs and dressed stone soffit and piers. Rubble stone parapet walls with vertical rubble stone coping stones, and with some concrete repairs. Dressed stone revetments to river bank to south.
This mid- to late nineteenth-century bridge is the result of engineering and drainage developments in the area. Prior to this, the river had to be forded at this point. The snecked walls contrast pleasingly with the well cut stone to the voussoirs. The short parapet walls are a subtle marker of the boundary between townlands.
